The Mingus Dynasty was a Jazz group formed by Sue Mingus shortly after Charles Mingus's death in 1979 with the goal of performing Mingus compositions. This live recording features Mingus compositions played by Jimmy Knepper, Billy Hart, Sir Roland Hanna, Joe Farrell & Randy Brecker.
