(24/48) "Fragments of Us" displays Harry's love of neon-hued bass and radioactive house music beautifully. Sequenced wonderfully, it's an understated but highly engrossing long player which displays both excellent sonic balance, and a keen ear for innovation. The cover art is a photo by his brother Dom Agius, and the type and graphics are by longtime friend and designer, Nick Shea. It features the voices of some Midland’s artistic heroes including Marlon Riggs, David Wojnarowicz alongside the contemporary voices of Stereogamus‘ Jonny Seymour and Horse Meat Disco’s Luke Howard.
A nice mix of future bass, modern atmos, system tickling production and fun electronics. Few tracks for the club, but the real joys will emerge from intensive headphone / home listening on top quality audio gear.
