(17/38) "Poland Waffle" sees the duo pitch shifting a Liquid Liquid style vocal line over a load of phasing,flanging percussion before the post punk bassline starts the dance. Trippy, tone-bending synths and space age sequences add some meat to the skeletal rhythm section and an ever changing arrangment ups the ante tenfold. Over on the flip, "Croatia Waffle" takes us to the stars with cosmic sequences, laser fire, discoid beats and interdimensional chatter. As we pass by the milky way and Tannhauser gate, a searing synthline tears through the vacuum, making way for the Morricone style vocalisation.
