It’s been 40 years since Leicester sax and synth pop band, The Swinging Laurels, signed a major record deal with WEA Records. Although this popular live band released singles for the label, no album was ever released. Until now! After combining together various demo cassettes and vinyl releases, mixing and mastering, the two men that started the band back in 1979, John Barrow and Gaz Birtles, have now formed an album’s worth of ‘lost’ tracks.
